#### Calculator Patterns 1

There is a certain magic about the number 9. The 9-times table has a nice symmetry in its numbers. But this also extends to other examples of multiplying by 9. So even if you don't know your 999 times table, get out your calculator and have a look at the patterns in these 9-times numbers:

Use your calculator to work out the rest of the answers here. First some number patterns in the 9-times table and related tables:

 9 x 1 =    9 9 x 2 =   18 9 x 3 =   27 9 x 4 =   36 9 x 5 =    ? 9 x 6 =    ? 9 x 7 =    ? 9 x 8 =    ? 9 x 9 =    ?
 99 x 1 =    99 99 x 2 =   198 99 x 3 =   297 99 x 4 =   396 99 x 5 =     ? 99 x 6 =     ? 99 x 7 =     ? 99 x 8 =     ? 99 x 9 =     ?
 999 x 1 =    999 999 x 2 =   1998 999 x 3 =   2997 999 x 4 =   3996 999 x 5 =      ? 999 x 6 =      ? 999 x 7 =      ? 999 x 8 =      ? 999 x 9 =      ?

Here are some more multiples of 9...

 1 x 9         +  2 =  11 12 x 9        +  3 = 111 123 x 9       +  4 =   ? 1234 x 9      +  5 =   ? 12345 x 9     +  6 =   ? 123456 x 9    +  7 =   ? 1234567 x 9   +  8 =   ? 12345678 x 9  +  9 =   ? 123456789 x 9 + 10 =   ?
 9 x 9        + 7 = ? 98 x 9       + 6 = ? 987 x 9      + 5 = ? 9876 x 9     + 4 = ? 98765 x 9    + 3 = ? 987654 x 9   + 2 = ? 9876543 x 9  + 1 = ? 98765432 x 9 + 0 = ?

The next patterns use the multiples of 9: 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, etc.
